NEWS 2008

1.5.08: South Lismore Soccer Club is in desperate need to find Shirt Sponsors for all Competitive Mixed Sides, Grade 16 Girls Side & Senior Men 3rd, 4th & 6th Div and the Womens 4th Div. If you own a business and need to off load some Cash before the end of the Financial year, Sponsorship is fully Tax deductable to a Not for Profit Sporting Organisation. If you have thought about Sponsoring your sons or daughters team please don’t hesitate in asking for a sponsorship proposal next time your at the club house or email support@southlismore.org

Don’t let an opposition Company end up sponsoring your childs or your own Team.

The Grade 6 to 9 Teams also require a Sponsor but we are presently working out the Best Way in which to promote Small Sided Games at South Lismore.

6.4.08: Thankyou Cathy for staying back and giving the boys something to eat. They were starving. I hope they remembered their win as a stepping stone to the destruction & humiliation of Alstonville at Oakes Oval. Age shall not weary us, because the squad is so young, Lest Alstonville we will Forget, after being destroyed. Make sure you buy your South Lismore War Veterans a beer on Anzac Day, because I can't afford the prices at Oakes Oval.

6.4.08: Mens Open A - South Lismore destroy Lennox Head 10 Nil at Alstonville.
we can't say Souths were hungry for a win because there was no canteen available for a Crowd of 50 Southies, we can's say Lennox played likee shit because there was no dunny paper to clean up the mess. The best thing was the crowd, getting behind the players in a goal a thon. Alstonville should get behind your committee and open up the canteen, Souths all had to go back with there supporters for late supper and watch Friday Night Football while remembering what a great win they had.
